Granville Island

Take the sea bus or walk across the Granville bridge and wander through the Public Market for fresh food, artisan goods, and quick bites. Explore the shops and art galleries or head to a patio and enjoy some fresh seafood, artisanal beer, and views of False Creek.

Stanley Park

A must-visit Vancouver landmark. Take in the views from Prospect Point, stop by the iconic lighthouse, and stroll through the beautiful Rose Garden. Wander around Lost Lagoon or visit the Totem Poles. The park is quite large so you'll need a few hours to see all these spots.

Seawall

Enjoy a walk along the marina starting at David Lam Park. You’ll see boats, harbour views, and the city skyline. Walk toward Sunset Beach and continue toward English Bay. If you continue along this way, you'll head to Stanley Park.

Gastown

Visit Gastown, one of Vancouver’s most historic neighbourhoods, known for its cobblestone streets, restored heritage buildings, and lively atmosphere. Stroll past the iconic Steam Clock (it whistles every 15 minutes) and boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Just a short walk away, visit Canada Place for waterfront views.

NEIGHBORHOODS TO VISIT

Yaletown

Walk along the seawall, relax at George Wainborn Park, or visit restaurants, cafés, and cocktail bars. With boutique shopping and lively patios, Yaletown is perfect for a relaxed stroll or an evening by the water.

Mount Pleasant

Wander along Main Street to explore independent boutiques, vintage stores, cafes, and some of Vancouver best restaurants. Mount Pleasant is a great area to experience a more local side of Vancouver for an afternoon.

Kitsilano

Spend time at Kits Beach or Jericho Beach, take a stroll along West 4th Avenue for local shops and eateries, and don’t miss the vibrant café scene for coffee or brunch. A quintessential Vancouver neighbourhood.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge

  • Free hike with suspension bridge

Deep Cove

  • Rent a kayak or hike up Quarry Rock trail for a view of the cove. Visit the quaint beach town with food spots and local shops.

Shannon Falls + Sea to Sky Gondola

  • Small hike to visit Shannon waterfall, then hike to the Gondola and take it up the mountain (paid). See stunning views, cross a suspension bridge, and a hike a variety of small trails.

Grouse Grind

  • Advanced hike, nicknamed “Nature’s Stairmaster”

Lighthouse Park

  • Free, easy hike located on the North Shore
